Painted Sky Center for the Arts hosts opportunities for local artists

JOHN DAY – Painted Sky Center for the Arts Executive Director Valerie Munyon was on KJDY’s Coffee Time Thursday, and explained they’ve recently begun hosting a free “Artist Meet-Up” once per month at their facility:
“The Third Thursday Artist Meet-Up that we just started it last month…it’s already growing momentum and interest.
There are so many local professional artists out there. It’s a social meet-up, and we’re going to be doing something a little bit different each month; possibly having some guest speakers in. [We will] Support each other’s work, you know, doing some safe zone critiquing.”
Their next meet-up will be Thursday, November 16th.
