WALLOWA COUNTY – (Details from Wallowa County Search and Rescue) On April 25 2022 at 5:35, Wallowa County Search and Rescue (WCSAR) was contacted regrading two overdue bird watchers. The initial call came into Union County who initiated the search on 4/24/22 in Union County, according to WCSAR. Through a phone ping, the missing hunters were thought to be in Wallowa County.
Information from WCSAR, notes that three teams were dispatched to the field, along with more resources standing by.
The vehicle was located in Wallowa County along with the occupants who were in good condition after spending the night in their vehicle.
