Overdue hunters found safe

MALHEUR COUNTY – (Information from Malheur County Search and Rescue) On the morning of December 20, the Malheur County Sheriff’s office was contacted regarding three overdue elk hunters near Ironside. Malheur County Search and Rescue was activated and began the search. The hunters were found in good health after their vehicle was stuck in the snow overnight. Thank you to all that responded and special thanks to Rick and Ron Jacobs along with Bill Butler.
