Out With the Old, In With the New. New Wildcat Center Project Underway

LA GRANDE – Work is underway on the new Wildcat Center at La Grande Middle School. Crews have been busy preparing the area for the structure and last week, the old brick maintenance building was demolished.

According to information from the La Grande School District, The new Wildcat Center, which will be completed in August 2024, will be located on the campus of La Grande Middle School and will replace the Annex and maintenance building that had been at the location. The Wildcat Center is being funded through the school district’s General Obligation bond passed by voters in May 2022. It will take approximately 15 months to complete the construction and it will be open for student use in August of 2024.
