BAKER COUNTY – The Oregon State Police recently arrested Edward Harold Huggler (61) of Helena Montana for being out of compliance with sex offender registration requirements following a traffic stop near Baker City. The stop specifically took place on Friday, August 30, along I-84 Eastbound near milepost 301, near the Baker City Municipal Airport. The full description of the arrest, as listed in the Oregon State Police press log, is as follows:
“Motorcycle stopped for an observed traffic violation. Driver presented a suspended Montana license with no driving privileges in Oregon. Driver found to be out of compliance with sex offender registration requirements. Driver arrested and transported to the Baker County Jail where he was lodged. Driver cited for several traffic offenses. Motorcycle towed from the scene by 5 Star Towing of Baker City.”
