Out of compliance sex offender arrested along 26th street in La Grande

LA GRANDE – At around 5:20 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, the La Grande Police Department responded to a report of a woman yelling outside a residence at 1806 26th Street, space #56, La Grande.
The woman was identified as 49-year-old Amy Louise Williams who, according to the LGPD, appeared to be under the influence of some type of intoxicants or substances due to her behavior. In addition to being arrested on one count of Disorderly Conduct II, Williams was also charged with Failing to Register as a Sex Offender. Note that, while this arrest occurred at the same address where Jessa Mae Hillerich was arrested last Wednesday (see yesterday’s article here), this is a coincidence according to the LGPD. The owner of Space #56 called the police after Williams began yelling outside, with the two arrests otherwise being unrelated.
