OTEC announces first Named Tradesman Scholarship

JOHN DAY – Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative’s Manager of Communications Shane Stenquist told KJDY Coffee Time listeners on Thursday that they have a new scholarship to announce:
“This year, we do have our very first Named Tradesman Scholarship…it is the Greg Hoover Scholarship, specifically for trade school.
One of the things that we love about trade school scholarships is that [students] can go, and they can start a career, and they don’t have any debt. We all know that’s a big one.”
