OSP took 5,048 calls over 4th of July weekend

OREGON – Oregon State Police across the state of Oregon had a busy holiday weekend July 1, thru July 4.  

In total Oregon State Police had “2,229 calls for services, 236 crashes, and 2,583 routine contacts for a total of 5,048 activities across Oregon.

OSP issued the following warning/citations for our “Fatal 5″ driving behaviors, contributing to most of all motor vehicle crashes. The fatal 5 are Speed, Occupant safety, Lane safety, Impaired driving, and Distracted driving.
