MILTON-FREEWATER – An Oregon State Police trooper arrested a 32-year-old woman Thursday on drug charges after a traffic stop led to the discovery of a bag ironically labeled “The box not contriban [sic].”

The woman was pulled over in Milton-Freewater for failing to use a turn signal and having illegal window tint. During the encounter, she was initially placed under arrest for providing a false identity to the trooper.

According to an OSP report, the trooper spotted a black bag inside the vehicle with the handwritten disclaimer. After the driver consented to a search of the bag, the trooper found pipes and foil with residue that tested positive for methamphetamine.

The woman was booked into the Umatilla County Jail on charges of giving false information to a police officer and possession of methamphetamine.
