OSP Asking Drivers to Know How to Install Chains

EASTERN OREGON – (Release from the Oregon State Police) The side of the highway in freezing weather is not a place to try to install your chains for the first time. OSP Troopers have been out assisting motorists driving on Oregon’s highways during winter weather. Troopers hope that drivers not only have the appropriate chains for their vehicles, but also know how to install them. Take the time to learn how to install your chains before heading out to drive in winter weather.
