HARNEY COUNTY-Lea Hoover Director of Member and Strategic Services with Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative spoke on Harney County Live about the community programs such as the scholarships and what ones have deadlines Monday, March 1, 2026. Lea spoke of a new program introduced this year called Healthcare Workforce Development Match and lastly Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

Lea then moved on to the latest information of OTEC purchasing Idaho Power, “if approved”. What that means to OTEC member owners, when it is proposed to start and what it could save current and future member owners.
