Oregon State Police assist Burns Police Department is burglary in Hines

HINES-On the night on April 17, 2023, Oregon State Police assisted Burns Police Department with a forcible burglary that occurred on Shelton Avenue in Hines.

Oregon State Police and Burns Police Department located the suspect’s vehicle located in a driveway on West Grant Ave. Oregon State Police and Burns Police Department made contact with a female suspect, identified as Jean Molt who was inside a residence on West Grant Ave. There was a second suspect identified as Harry Hathaway. Oregon State Police searched for Hathaway and located him in a trailer located on South Liberty Ave in Hines.

Both Molt and Hathaway were taken into custody by Burns Police Department on related charges.
