EUGENE – Oregon and Oregon State will renew their football rivalry after a short hiatus beginning in 2028.

The school’s announced the agreement Tuesday. The rivalry game will be in Corvallis on Sep. 16, 2028, before switching to Eugene for the 2029 season.

The schools will take a break in 2030 before playing again in Eugene in 2031 and then Corvallis in 2032.

The two universities have one of the longes-running football rivalries in the nation with the first game being played in 1894. The break came as a result of Oregon leaving the Pac-12 for the Big Ten Conference.
