Oregon FBLA President on KJDY’s Coffee Time

JOHN DAY – Grant Union FBLA Chapter President Maddie Bailey also happens to be the State President for the Oregon FBLA organization. Bailey was in KJDY Studio with FBLA member Logan Randleas and Advisor Kalli Wilson to discuss their chapter.

When asked about her role, Bailey explained that being the State President comes with some hefty responsibilities:

“The biggest thing is, probably, that I’m a voting member on the Oregon FBLA Board of Trustees. That’s given me a lot of experience within business, just being able to go network and learn from all of these giants in business in Oregon. So, that’s been really cool. Other than that, I lead our Oregon FBLA State Officer Team. [There are] seven other officers, and I lead them and we focus on student initiatives.”

Maddie also mentioned that her team will fly her into Portland from Pendleton or Boise to conduct meetings now and again.
