LA GRANDE – (Information provided by the La Grande School District)  This fall, LGSD students will attend school full-time, five days per week. The Oregon Department of Education is now revising guidance to support K-12 schools in safely delivering in-person instruction. That guidance, the Ready Schools, Safe Learners Resiliency Framework, is expected on or before July 24th. LGSD will work with a committee of parents, community members, and staff to update our safety plans and those will be released in early August.

The Resiliency Framework is developed jointly by the Oregon Department of Education (ODE)
and the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and is informed by U.S. Department of Education and
CDC guidance along with information from many other sources. Except where compliance is
mandated by existing state law, the Resiliency Framework is advisory.
