United Community Partners in Halfway to receive $15,600 grant

HALFWAY — The Oregon Community Foundation has announced their next round of grant funding, and one community organization in the Baker County town of Halfway is a benefactor.

In their 2024 Fall Cycle of Community Grants, the foundation announced that United Community Partners, Inc. of Halfway was selected to receive $15,600. The funding will be used to purchase handheld radios for Pine Valley Rural Fire District. The grant money is part of a $322,617 boost to communities throughout Eastern Oregon.
