GRANT COUNTY – A wolf or wolves associated with OR183 has killed a cow in the Swamp Creek area of western Grant County, according to the latest ODFW livestock depredation investigation documents.
On December 20th, a dead adult cow was found in a 2000-acre private land pasture near Swamp Creek in the Suplee area of western Grant County. The attack had happened approximately 12 hours prior to the investigation, which was confirmed to have been conducted by wolves associated with the collared female wolf, OR183. Multiple depredations in Grant and Crook counties over the past few months have been associated to these wolves.
