JOHN DAY – Grant County’s OSU Open Campus Coordinator Didgette McKracken was on KJDY’s Coffee Time to discuss preparation for a student’s senior year in high school:
“Any high school student—but certainly if you haven’t done it as a senior—you should be thinking about job shadowing, and that’s for someone who wants to be a teacher; someone who wants to be an electrician; someone who wants to be a welder. You name it. There are people in our community that are willing and able to help as far as mentoring and showing students what they do in their job everyday…and it’s so valuable.”
