Ontario’s Saint Alphonsus Medical Center welcomes first baby of 2025

ONTARIO (Press Release from St. Alphonsus Medical Center in Ontario) Saint Alphonsus Medical Center is pleased to announce the arrival of the first baby of 2025 at its Ontario hospital.

Baby boy Gael Calvillo Torres entered the world at 7:05 a.m. on Thursday, January 2. Gael weighed 7lbs 3oz and measured 19.5 inches.

To commemorate the hospital’s first baby of 2025, Saint Alphonsus presented parents Erika Torres Gonzalez and Manuel Calvillo Villegos with a basket containing a host of newborn necessities, including:

• Reusable tote/storage bin

• Baby wipes

• Sound machine

• Blanket

• Swaddling sleep sacks

• Grooming kit

• “Saint Al’s Kid” bear
