Ontario’s Four Rivers Cultural Center awarded $80K grant

ONTARIO — The latest round of grant funding through Creative Heights has been announced by the Oregon Community Foundation. The Four Rivers Cultural Center & Museum in Ontario is slated to receive $80,000 for their Where Rivers Meet series. The program is an interactive multidisciplinary performing arts series bringing artists and residents together across music, theater, comedy, and ritual to explore culture, heritage, commonalities, and belonging.
Patricia Walker, Executive Director of Four Rivers Cultural Center & Museum, said, “We are deeply grateful to Oregon Community Foundation for believing in this project.” She continued with, “This funding means so much because it gives Four Rivers Cultural Center the chance to bring artists, culture bearers and community members together in a meaningful way. Where Rivers Meet is about honoring the cultures that shape our region while creating space for connection and common ground.”
The Creative Heights initiative awarded a total of $1 million in this round of funding.
