Ontario School District to celebrate National School Breakfast Week

ONTARIO — Adventure awaits at breakfast time next week at Ontario School District. OSD 8C’s Nutrition Services will be participating in National School Breakfast Week, March 2^nd through March 6^th.

The theme for National School Breakfast Week is “The Quest for School Breakfast.” Students at OSD 8C will enjoy the Dragon’s Breath Burrito Bar on Monday, the Enchanted Strawberry Stack on Tuesday, a Jester’s Yogurt Goblet of Giggles on Wednesday, and Thursday will feature a Knight’s Feast of Chicken and Waffles.

According to the School Nutrition Association, “National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) celebrates the important role a nutritious school breakfast plays in helping students start their day ready to learn, grow, and succeed. Observed each year during the first full week of March, NSBW shines a spotlight on the School Breakfast Program and the dedicated school nutrition professionals who fuel students every morning.”
