ONTARIO — The Ontario Police Department reports that one Officer has been teaching about the dangers of impaired driving at a local school. Officer Llamas was recently able to provide insight on the Impaired Driving Course she instructs to students at Four Rivers Community School. Impaired Driving was the subject of one local 12th grader’s senior project.
Ontario Police writes, “OPD is very lucky to have Ofc. Llamas on our team, as she is the only Certified DRE (Drug Recognition Expert) in all of Malheur County. Many agencies in the county rely on her expertise to respond and assist with evaluating impaired drivers on a regular basis.”
