Ontario Police Department welcomed two new officers this week

ONTARIO — The Ontario Police Department (OPD) had two new officers sworn in this week. Sworn in were officers Taylor Brown, previously of the Malheur County Sheriff’s Office and Officer Mike Gallagher, a new recruit at the Ontario Police Department. According to OPD, their families, many Oregon Police Department Officers and several others were in attendance to welcome them aboard. The department noted they look forward to their safe and productive years with the agency.
A ceremony was held at Ontario City Hall.
