For kids and adults enrolled in various support programs in Malheur County, two Ontario based organizations are offering nutritious meals as part of the Oregon Department of Education’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). These organizations are:

  • Giggles & Grace Early Learning Center
    • 1260 SW 8th Ave, Ontario.

  • Treasure Valley Children’s Relief Nursery
    • 780 SE 6th Street, Ontario.

For those unfamiliar with the program, the Oregon Department of Education gave the following summary in a recent press release:

“Funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the CACFP ensures that infants, children, and adults enrolled in local programs receive nutritious meals. This year, approximately 570 centers and 1,164 child care providers across the state will be offering meals through the CACFP.”
