ONTARIO — City officials in Ontario will be getting an upgrade to their workspace. The City of Ontario has announced that City Hall will undergo a complete interior remodel. Ontario Police Department personnel will benefit from the first-floor renovations, which will feature an interrogation room and new police workstations. The second floor will feature new dormitories for Ontario Fire and Rescue team members.

OFR reports, “The project includes demolition, construction of walls and doors, flooring, painting, HVAC installation, electrical and lighting upgrades, and low-voltage communication lines, all in compliance with current Oregon building codes and ADA requirements.”

For the firefighters, OFR says the new living quarters will support rest, morale, and readiness for their 24-hour shifts.
