Only 20% of the primary ballots have been returned in Harney County

HARNEY COUNTY-According to Harney County Clerk Derrin “Dag” Robinson, Harney County has only received 20% of ballots returned for the Primary election.

Dag states, “I hear all the time… Our votes don’t count over here. No they don’t if you leave them sitting on the kitchen county.”

Primary election ballots are due by May 19, 2026. If you mail it in, it may take longer to get to the clerks office and may be past the May 19th, 2026 deadline. Harney County Clerk Dag Robinson suggests that you take it to the counter at the post office and hand it to the mail clerk for a hand post mark, or take it to the nearest drop box, or bring it up to the Harney County Clerks Office at the Courthouse.

If for some reason you haven’t received your ballot, contact the Harney County Clerks office at 541-573-6641.
