One is injured in residential structure fire

WALLA WALLA – A man sustained a minor burn injury in a residential structure fire Sunday morning on the 2000 block of Delaware Street. When the Walla Walla Fire Department arrived just before 4 a.m., the basement of the two-story duplex was fully involved.
All occupants were able to evacuate safely. The cause of the fire is undetermined but appears to be accidental, according to officials. Damage is estimated at $250,000.
The American Red Cross is helping two displaced families. No firefighters were injured.
