GRANT COUNTY – Two confirmed wolf depredations on livestock have occurred in August, according to the latest Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife documents.
On August 2nd, a 3-month-old calf was injured on private land in Bear Valley. The attack was confirmed to have been caused by a wolf or wolves from the Bear Valley Pack.
Less than a week later, on on August 8th near Crane Prairie, one 5-month-old calf was killed in a depredation confirmed to have been caused by the Logan Valley Pack.
No further information was released on either incident.
