One arrested in hit-and-run incident

PRAIRIE CITY – On Saturday, February 12th, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Prairie City Ambulance and John Day Ambulance responded to a hit-and-run accident on Front St. in Prairie City. As a result, Shawn Kite, 53, of Prairie City was arrested. Information from our listeners as well as scanner traffic indicated two people were taken to the hospital, but no official information has been released. No further details were available.
