RICHLAND – Richland Police (RPD) assisted in the apprehension of three suspects in an Olympia shooting over the weekend, utilizing the Flock Safety camera system to locate the suspect vehicle.
Richland Police were notified by Olympia Police that the three suspects in the shooting had ties to the Tri-Cities area, and at approximately 4 p.m. Sunday cameras alerted officers to the suspect vehicle on Keene Road heading into West Richland.
West Richland Police located the vehicle and took the suspect into custody before impounding the vehicle pending a search warrant from Olympia Police detectives.
Richland and Kennewick officers then worked into the night along with Olympia detectives before locating and arresting the remaining two suspects in Kennewick.
