Officer struck by fleeing suspect

RICHLAND – Police are looking for a man and woman that struck an officer with a vehicle Monday while attempting to escape. Officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of Queensgate Drive for a report of a theft.

When officers contacted Noah Detloff, 26, he got into a physical struggle attempting to flee. He was able to get into a vehicle driven by a female and in the process of escaping, struck an officer. The officer was not seriously injured.

The whereabouts of Detloff and the female driver are currently unknown. Anyone with information can call the Richland Police Department’s non-emergency dispatch at 509-628-0333.
