GRANT COUNTY – It’s summertime, and the Oregon Department of Transportation has several chip seal plans in the works throughout Grant County. ODOT’s Region 5 Public Affairs Officer Vicki Moles said they plan to start work around July 11th:
“Crews will be [working] from the junction of OR 19 and US 26 through Dayville. Our second section after that will be in Mt. Vernon at the intersection of 395B, and we’ll be heading east on US 26 to John Day.”
Moles said to expect delays with pilot cars. Folks who’d like more information on ODOT’s summertime Region 5 projects can visit Oregon.gov/odot and click the News & Projects tab.
