ODOT striping state highways in Wallowa County through July 3

WALLOWA COUNTY — (Release from ODOT) The Oregon Department of Transportation is striping state highways in Wallowa County now through July 3. Crews expect to stripe in the following order and anticipate this work will take two to three days for each highway.

OR 3 (Enterprise-Lewiston Highway) – starting at the Oregon/Washington state line (milepost 0) and traveling south to Enterprise (milepost 43).

OR 82 (Wallowa Lake Highway) – starting in Elgin (milepost 20) and moving east to Joseph (milepost 72).

OR 350 (Little Sheep Creek Highway) – starting in Joseph (milepost 0) and traveling east to Imnaha (milepost 27).

This schedule is weather-dependent and subject to change.

If you travel these highways, you can expect:

  • Pilot cars.
  • Reduced speeds.
  • Wet paint.
  • Please give paint trucks plenty of room to avoid overspray of paint.
  • If possible, use alternate routes or delay travel to avoid work zones.
