GRANT COUNTY – With chip seal projects underway all throughout the county, ODOT’s Region 5 Public Information Officer Tom Strandberg reminds motorists to keep the speeds down over the project areas:
“We definitely need people to slow way down because those rock chips will fly around, and we want to minimize any damage that people are seeing from our project. Usually, if people are driving the safe speed—which is about 30 to 35 miles-an-hour—we don’t have a lot of issues.”
On Friday, a motor vehicle accident occurred over the chip sealed portion of highway 26 near Dayville. Find the project areas highlighted at tripcheck.com.
