ODOT Ongoing Work Schedules for Eastern Oregon

EASTERN OREGON – McAlister Rd Bridge:  Limited work is expected this week. There will be lane closures and flagging with up to 20-minute delays if work is occurring.  There will be no traffic impacts if there is no work going on.

2nd Street Bridge over I-84: There is no work expected until after Labor Day.  The bridge will be closed again to vehicular traffic starting on Tuesday, September 6.  It will remain open to pedestrians and bicycles.  The closure will accommodate asphalt grinding and paving at both ends of the bridge and jacking of the bridge to allow for replacement and repair of the existing bearings that support the bridge.  The closure is expected to remain in place for approximately 30 days.

OR86 Bridge over I-84 (Richland Interchange):  Limited work is expected this week.  There will be lane closures and flagging with up to 20-minute delays when work is occurring.  There will be no traffic impacts if there is no work going on.

Bridge over I-84 at Upper Perry (Exit 256 EB Off Ramp):  The contractor will begin work to install new metal railing across both sides of the bridge this week. There will be lane closures and flagging with up to 20-minute delays when work is occurring. There will be no traffic impacts if there is no work going on.

OR82 Bridge Near Wallowa: The contractor will continue installing falsework and constructing forms for construction of the new bridge concrete superstructure.  Rebar placement will begin this week.  A temporary traffic signal is in place.  Traffic will be controlled by flaggers or the temporary traffic signal during working hours, and by the temporary traffic signal during non-working hours. Up to 20-minute delays can be expected 24/7. The signal is expected to remain in place until both travel lanes are available again early this fall.
