WALLOWA – (Release from the Oregon Department of Transportation) The contractor will be working on wingwalls and bearings to prepare for setting up Steel Girders scheduled to begin the second week of May. A temporary traffic signal was put in place on Monday April 3rd. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers or the temporary traffic signal during working hours and by the temporary traffic signal during non-working hours. Up to 20-minute delays can be expected 24/7. The signal is expected to remain in place until the new bridge is open to traffic this fall.
