ODOT Construction Updates – Union and Baker Counties

UNION & BAKER COUNTIES – (Release from the Oregon Department of Transportation)
I-84 between Ladd Canyon and North Powder: Over the next two weeks the contractor will be milling rumble strips along the inside and outside shoulders, laying permanent striping and installing shoulder delineators. There will be some lane and shoulder closers as each operation moves from one area to the next.
McAlister Rd Bridge: No work is planned for this week.
2nd Street Bridge over I-84: The contractor will continue the process to remove and change out the bridge baring pads. They will also be working on the bridge end joints. Travel over the bridge will continue to be closed to vehicular traffic through next Friday. It will remain open to pedestrians and bicycles.
OR86 Bridge over I-84 (Richland Interchange): The contractor is planning to bring in an additional crew to remove the containment system and start to install fencing.
Bridge over I-84 at Upper Perry (Exit 256 EB Off Ramp): No work is planned for this week.
