PENDLETON – The Pendleton City Council is holding a workshop today (Tuesday) at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers at Pendleton City Hall.

The Oregon Department of Transportation will present its concept for the redesign of Exit 209 (Southgate) off Interstate 84. The city and ODOT have unsuccessfully tried for several years to get grant funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation to reconfigure the exit.

The grant funding process for such projects begins this fall.
