SALEM – The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife will host a series of online public meetings this month with district wildlife biologists presenting proposed changes to the 2025 big-game regulations and getting feedback from the public.
Each meeting will include a presentation on the proposed rules, a question-and-answer session, and the opportunity for the public to comment. ODFW said that no major changes are proposed. More details, including controlled-hunt tag numbers and season dates will be available online before the first meeting on July 8.
A form is posted on ODFW’s website for people to submit questions either in advance or after the meeting. The meetings will also offer a chat option for live questions. One live meeting will also be held in Springfield.
The final regulations are scheduled to be adopted at the Sept. 13 meeting of the ODFW Commission at its meeting Sept. 13 in The Dalles.
