EASTERN OREGON – (Information from ODFW) The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife are hosting a series of both remote and in person public meetings across Oregon to garner feedback on proposed 2024 big game hunting regulations. Propose changes include revisions to the number and type of some big game hunts.
Pendleton, La Grande, John Day, Baker City, Enterprise, and Heppner will be covered during a single remote meeting on July 20. The meeting livestream begins at 6:00 p.m. and can be viewed at https://myodfw.com/articles/2024-big-game-regulation-proposals-and-public-meetings. Comments will need to be submitted ahead of time via a form at https://odfw.wufoo.com/forms/questioncomment-submission-form/.
The final 2024 regulations will be adopted during ODFW’s September 14-15 meeting in Bend.
