EASTERN OREGON – ODFW have announced a free fishing and clamming weekend to kick off June. During Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2, no licenses or tags will be required for fishing or shell fishing across Oregon, including Combined Angling Tags, Columbia River Basin Endorsements, or Two-Rod Validations. This two-day tag waiver applies to both Oregon residents and nonresidents and coincides with free parking on Saturday via Oregon State Parks.
Keep in mind that all other standard fishing regulations and restrictions will still apply, including bag limits, size restrictions, and all closures. Anglers are encouraged to research specific seasonal restrictions or changes in advance before making plans.
