OCCA names honor students

SALEM – The Oregon Community College Association has named 55 students from across the state to the 2024 All-Oregon Academic Team. Two of them are from Blue Mountain Community College. None of the members from other community colleges in Oregon are from Umatilla or Morrow counties.
The two selected to the team locally are Chad Doherty of Heppner and Matthew Milhaem of Umatilla. Doherty has also been selected to speak at the recognition luncheon in Salem on April 19.
“Congratulations to these outstanding scholars for their exceptional achievements in academics, leadership, and community service,” OCCA Board President Jane Ried said.
