Susan “Sue” Kathleen Rynearson, 73, of Joseph, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Wallowa Memorial Hospital. At her request, there will be no service.
Sue was born on July 17, 1950 in San Jose, California to Robert and Marilyn (Miller) Macedo. She resided in San Jose, CA; Joseph and Enterprise, OR. She graduated from Joseph High School and then later attended beauty college. She married her one true love, Jim Rynearson in 1977.
Sue worked for Community Bank, City of Joseph, Safeway, a Flagger for Washington State Traffic Control, a supervisor with the Oregon Certified Traffic Control and worked for the Wallowa County Road Department. She enjoyed flower gardening, teaching Taekwondo classes and was a member of the Red Hats.
Sue is survived by her husband, Jim Rynearson, and daughter, Tiffany Rynearson; sisters, Valerie Ortega, Jodi Hooker and Sandy Hooker; brothers Tim Macedo and Bill Hooker; 1 grandchild, Taieh Rynearson; 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
