Gary Lawrance Addleman, loving father, adventurous outdoorsman, and supportive friend, peacefully passed away on March 7, 2024 At home with his son Robert and Daughter in law Nina by his side. Gary was born on August 7, 1943, in Sheridan, WY, and resided in Huntington, Oregon. Known for his smart wit and captivating storytelling, Gary lived a life filled with love, adventure, and hard work. Gary was a man of many talents. He found fulfillment in his work as a General Laborer in the cement industry, where his strong work ethic and determination shone. Outside of his professional life, Gary’s adventurous spirit came to life in the great outdoors. He was passionate about camping, fishing, and hunting, often sharing these experiences with those he held dear. These activities did not simply occupy his time, but they were a testament to his zest for life and the joy he found in nature’s beauty. As John Muir once said, “In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks,” and this was certainly the case for Gary. Gary was a beacon of love and support to his family and friends. He is survived by his son Robert Addleman, Daughter-in-law Nina Addleman, Daughter Cindy Ray and son-in-law Steven Ray, As well as His Sister Barb Overturf. Grandkids: Randy, Ryan, Kyle, Brandon, Charlee, Tyonna, Monique. Great grandkids: Isabelle, Pepper, Maverick, Destinee, was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Addleman and Anna Wiley Addleman, Brother Kenny Addleman, and his beloved wife, Ellen Addleman. The love and strength he showed his family will forever be their guiding light. He was a very special man who will be missed by everyone. He would do anything for anyone in need of help.
