Collene Regina Sidotti Sherman, 69, of La Grande, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Grande Ronde Hospital. At her request, there will be no service.
Collene was born on February 3, 1954 in Honolulu, Hawaii to William Blaisdell and Marion K. Kaanapu. She resided in Hawaii, Maryland and Oregon. Collene graduated from Radford High School. Her first marriage was to Jeffrey Leroy Sherman. They later divorced. Her second marriage was to Lawrence Hampton Oliver.
Collene was an accountant at City Wide Transportation in Hawaii. She enjoyed shopping, movies, listening to music and canoe paddling.
Collene is survived by her children, Nathan Sherman, Nicholas Sherman and Candace Sherman (Blaine) all of La Grande, OR; step-father, William Sidotti; sisters, Willene Martin of Texas, Yvonne Sidotti, Cheryl Sidotti, Sharon Sidotti, Kimmy Delacruz and Bobbie Jo Abraham (Roger) all of Hawaii; brother, Woody Sidotti (Glynis) of Nevada; 9 grandchildren and 47 nieces and nephews. Collene was preceded in death by her mother, Marion K. Kaanapu; biological father, William Blaisdell; husband, Lawrence Oliver; brothers, Michael Kaanapu and Rick Sidotti.
