Celebrating Life
Carol Ann (DuBosch) Warren died Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at her home in La Grande at the age of 64.
Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels-Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center.
Carol was born in La Grande on June 24, 1960, the only daughter of Norman George and Joan Violet (Roach) DuBosch.
Carol was raised in La Grande and graduated with the La Grande High School class of 1978. On August 11, 1979 she was married to Mark Carlyle Warren in La Grande and Carol travelled with him in his military career to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and Pensacola, Florida before returning to La Grande where they made their home and raised their family of three boys.
Carol worked as a cashier for Sprouse Reitz and then later for Walmart where she enjoyed seeing and greeting all her friends. She was a lifelong parishioner at St. Peters Episcopal Church and held memberships in both the American Legion Auxiliary and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Some of her enjoyments were crocheting, reading, skiing and travelling. She was an adventurous and excellent cook who enjoyed preparing and eating delicious foods with her family.
Surviving family members include her son Christopher and his wife Rachael of La Grande, son Ryan of La Grande, grandchildren Nathaniel and Vivian Warren and Matthew Berglund, and her devoted chihuahua companion Sebastian.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents Joan (2001), Norm (2015), and son Michael (2022).

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on April 4th at the First Christian Church in La Grande.
