Nyssa PD say farewell to one team member and welcome another

NYSSA — Nyssa Police report that a longtime officer has moved on, while another reserve officer has recently joined the department.

Nyssa Police Sergeant Greg Armenta signed off for the final time on February 17th, following 17 years of service to the Nyssa Police Department. The department posted a touching video of the final sendoff from dispatch, along with these words:

“Sgt. Greg Armenta, thank you for your 17 years of dedicated service to the community of Nyssa. You have served with passion and commitment. We want to wish you success in this next chapter of your life and career. God Bless you Sir!”

Following the departure of Sergeant Armenta, the department welcomed in Reserve Officer Madilyn Wilson. Nyssa Police stated, “We are honored to have her as part of the team and look forward to seeing her serve this community.”
