Nyssa Elementary’s BIG BUILDERS robotics team won state award

NYSSA — Nyssa Elementary School’s Lego Robotics Teams recently got back from the state robotics competition in Hillsboro. According to the school, the competition was held on Saturday, January 18th, and the “BIG BUILDERS” team from Nyssa won the Breakthrough Award.
Nyssa Elementary reports, “This award celebrates a team that made significant progress in their confidence and capability in both the Robot Games and Innovation Project and are a shining example of excellent Core Values. They demonstrate that they understand that what they discover is more important than what they win.”
