GRANT COUNTY: According to information from the Grant Soil Water and Conservation District, funding will be available for local private landowners to participate in a cost share program for invasive annual grass treatments.
Beginning February 9th, 2022, Grant Weed Control will be accepting applications for a Title II-funded, 25% cost share program, which will provide a maximum of $10,000 for invasive annual grass treatments. The maximum landowner contribution is $2,500.
The agency explained that funding is limited, and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications are due no later than March 11th, 2022.
