Northern Baker Transportation Improvement Plan to consider concepts

BAKER CITY– (Release from Baker City Public Works) The City is working on the Northern Baker Transportation Improvement Plan to consider roadway improvement concepts on 10th Street, Pocahontas Road/Hughes Lane, and Cedar Street. The City invites the community to provide input on draft roadway concepts at a live virtual workshop on Thursday, April 1, 2021 beginning at 6:00 p.m. The public can access the meeting from the project website:www.bakercity.com/2289/NBTIP.

Workshop Agenda

5:45 p.m. – Meeting opens 6:00 p.m. – Welcome

6:10 p.m. – Project presentation 6:30 p.m. – Participant feedback

Earlier this year, the City hosted a virtual public meeting to collect community feedback on transportation priorities. This input informed the roadway concept designs for 10th Street, Pocahontas Road/Hughes Lane, and Cedar Street.

For those who cannot attend the upcoming workshop, the City will host an online open house from March 29 through April 9, where the public can view draft roadway concepts and make comments.
